On last night's THE X FACTOR on Fox, the pressure was on for the finalists as they each performed two songs one last time for the viewer's votes. As Simon aptly said in the beginning of the show, 'It's going to be the closest final we've ever had.'

At a press conference held yesterday afternoon, the Top 3 finalists and judges revealed details of this week's finale episodes of THE X FACTOR. At the conference, Simon Cowell announced that in addition to Justin Bieber and Leona Lewis performing on the two-hour finale this Thursday, Dec. 22, Pitbull and Ne-Yo are also slated to perform - and our Top 3 contenders, Chris Rene, Josh Krajcik, and Melanie Amaro - will perform a duet with three surprise mega, grade-A, superstars on Wednesday's show.

VH1's beloved, popular franchise, VH1 Divas, returns and will pay tribute to the cities where soul gave birth to music's most powerful classics and inspired today's divas. Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, Florence + The Machine, Kelly Clarkson and Jessie J will pay homage to these cities and soul music's timeless classics at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul premieres Monday, December 19 at 9 p.m. ET/8 CT on VH1.

Last night, June 16, Matthew Morrison joined British singer, Leona Lewis in a duet of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' at her London concert. Click below to hear their rendition. As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, this will not be the last time Lewis and Morrison will unite --- she is set to film a spot for GLEE next season.

There's no doubt about it - Leona Lewis is the biggest star to come out of The X Factor. In fact, without her success it's conceivable that the show would no longer exist.

First up for our X Factor retrospective is last year's winner, Alexandra. Since she scored a massive Christmas number one hit with her cover of Hallelujah, she's been out of the spotlight, busy recording her debut album. The album will be called Overcome and its title track is one of a few songs which have leaked so far, a big ballad that will please anyone hoping for Alex to be the new Leona Lewis.
