On April 9, 2012, Karimloo released Human Heart, his first solo album under the Sony banner. Human Heart includes songs Ramin has performed on stage including “Music of the Night” from The Phantom Of The Opera as well as “Til I Hear You Sing” from its sequel, Love Never Dies. It also includes brand new songs from writers such as Ryan Tedder & Greg Wells (Adele, Leona Lewis), fresh new takes on songs from Muse & Bryan Adams, original material from Ramin himself as well as a brand new song from Tony-Award winning writers Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater (Spring Awakening).

Influenced by a love of country and bluegrass, rock ‘n’ roll and musical theatre, the album promises an intimate look at Ramin the man, with sounds that marry rock and the showtune.

Karimloo is best known for his roles as the Phantom and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera, Jean Valjean and Marius in Les Misérables, Chris in Miss Saigon, and originating the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies.
