Virginia's Signature Theatre is currently presenting the world premiere of Diner, the musical adaptation of the landmark film with a book by the movie's Academy Award®-winning screenwriter and director Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Bugsy, The Natural) and an original score by nine-time Grammy Award® winnerSheryl Crow. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award® Winner Kathleen Marshall (Broadway's Anything Goes, Nice Work If You Can Get It), the production begins performances at Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre December 9. It will play for six and a half weeks, through January 25. Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time TonyAward-winning play, will begin performances on Monday, March 18, 2013 at New World Stages. The cast includes returning Broadway cast members Rick Holmes, now playing Black Stache, Jason Ralph, now playing Boy, along with Kevin Del Aguila as Smee, Matt D'Amico as Slank, and Evan Harrington as Alf, all reprising their roles. They are joined by Nicole Lowrance (Molly), Edward Baker-Duly(Lord Aster), Josh Grisetti (Fighting Prawn), Alex Hernandez (Captain Scott), Nate Miller (Ted), Andrew Mueller (Prentiss), Jon Patrick Walker (Mrs. Bumbrake),Jordan Geiger, Joanna Howard, and Graham Stevens.
