New Jersey Repertory Company is proud to present When the Circus Comes to Town, a Festival of the Arts that includes: Theatre Brut (32 short plays), live music, an art show, a photography exhibit, poetry readings, and new this year - an afternoon of children's storytelling.  It's a fundraiser for NJ Rep's West End Arts Center, serving the Long Branch community, and it's taking place September 20 - 30, at 132 West End Ave, Long Branch. Ghostlight Records has released HIMSELF AND NORA - the 2016 Off-Broadway Cast Recording, Live from the Minetta Lane Theatre, NYC - from iTunes and other digital formats today, Friday, September 23. Physical copies will be available online and in stores Friday, October 7. The new musical features book, music, and lyrics by Jonathan Brielle. On March 10, guests at Paddy Reilly's Music Bar got quite the treat at the venue's weekly open mic. Off-Broadway's HIMSELF AND NORA author/composer Jonathan Brielle and star Matt Bogart surprised them with two songs from the show, which begins this May at the Minetta Lane Theatre. The Development Wing presented its fourth annual Broadway Under the Stars benefit concert on Saturday, June 6, 2015. The exclusive, one-night-only event was hosted by acclaimed writer/lyricist Jonathan Brielle, Artistic Director of The Development Wing and Vice President of The Johnny Mercer Foundation, and featured musical performances by Broadway's best, including Roz Ryan (Chicago, Ain't Misbehavin'), Cole Burden (Murder Ballad), Brooke Sunny Moriber (The Threepenny Opera), Ken Prymus (Cats, The Wiz), Patricia Noonan (Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice), along with young artists,Jenna Downs, Jake Swain, and more. With Musical Direction by Jeffrey Klitz, Broadway Under the Stars took place on the grounds of the historic Vala Maison, an exquisite country-style estate located in Tewksbury, New Jersey.
