LIVING FOR TODAY, with musical direction by Nate Patten, and direction by David Alpert, played a one-night-only engagement at the newly renovated Joe's Pub last night, October 17, 2011 at 7:00PM. The fourth annual LIVING FOR TODAY concert showcased Broadway stars in an exciting night of music. This year's concert, titled FIRST NAME BASIS, featured everyone's favorite showtunes, but only those with a first name in the title. Proceeds go to the Gilana Shira Alpert Fund. Youtube star Randy Rainbow made a special appearance in the video below, which features cameos by Stephen Spinella, Allison Case and Max Von Essen. Click below to check it out!

York Theatre Company Oh, Coward! and The Mad Show, the next titles in its Summer 2011 Musicals in Mufti Series-the York's acclaimed series of musical theatre gems in staged concert performances. The concerts will run from July 15-17 and July 29-31, respectively. Broadway's WONDERLAND played its final performance this Sunday, May 15 at 3pm at the Marquis Theatre in front of a packed house including many Broadway notables. The show played 31 previews and 33 regular performances. WONDERLAND began previews Monday, March 21 and opened Sunday, April 17. The production will play a National tour. As we first reported earlier, at the curtain call the show's love story mixed with real life, as Darren Ritchie, who played Jack the White Knight proposed to his co-star, Janet Dacal, who played Alice. Darren proposed to Janet on stage right after the curtain call with the entire audience in the house. Janet screamed 'I said yes!' In the audience, there were tears of joy mixed with the sadness for the show closing. Now, the first videos are making their way onto YouTube!
