At the 2016 edition of BROADWAY BACKWARDS, Broadway legend Chita Rivera brought her own brand of 'razzle-dazzle' to Kander and Ebb's 'All I Care About is Love' from CHICAGO. The actress delivered an unforgettable take on swarmy lawyer Billy Flynn, surrounded by a bevy of feathery beauties, many from the original 1996 CHICAGO revival cast, including Nili Bassman, Mindy Cooper, Mamie Duncan-Gibbs, Gabriela Garcia, Mary Ann Lamb, Dana Moore and Solange Sandy. Initially booking for a limited 4 week run, Tony Award-winning Broadway musical In The Heights has extended its run at King's Cross Theatre for a second time, now booking for an additional 3 months until Sunday 10 April 2016. In The Heights returns to London following a critically acclaimed sell-out UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse in 2014.

R.Evolución Latina's D2GB (Dare to Go Beyond) Children's Performing Arts Camp concludes tomorrow with a very special celebration at El Museo del Barrio. R.Evolución Latina, who has been featured on NBC's Nightly News with Brian Williams in a segment called 'Making a Difference', is a collective of artists and activists committed to empowering the artistic community in order to inspire growth within the Latino Community through collaboration, productions, and educational support programs. An added focus to this year's camp is health awareness and the importance of physical activity as we address the growing concern of obesity in our Latino children. 'Through the arts, we will empower the youth to recognize the importance of leading and maintaining a healthy life' says Camp Coordinator Ali Solomon. This free camp will provide more than 150 underserved children ages 7-17 the chance to experience the arts through classes taught by NYC and international artists from the theatre, music, dance, and Latino communities. 'This camp is very inspiring and also fun... It's like a mission that we have to accomplish during this week, I'm just loving everything about it.' said Rosa Fermin one of the students.

R.Evolución Latina is sponsoring Dance Company D1 of Peru, a group of 19 dancers taken under the wing of Vania Massias, who turned down a role in Cirque du Soleil to start a dance program for 'under-served children tumbling in the streets'. Vania's selfless efforts reflect R.Evolución Latina's fundamental drive: to make a difference through the arts.

Latin Assistant Choreographer Luis Salgado of the hit musical In The Heights is profiled on NBC with Brian Williams and shares his motto of GOING BEYOND in Making a Difference with his organization 'Revolucion Latina', a collective of artists and activists committed to empowering the artistic community in order to inspire growth within the Latino Community.
