Today is quite the magical day because it's the birthday of one of the most famous wizards in the wizarding world, Harry Potter! To celebrate the special occasion, we're looking back at opening night of The Boy Who Lived's venture on Broadway: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child! In the final scene of the last 'Harry Potter' movie, Harry, Ron and Hermione send their children off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. That's where the new Broadway play, 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,' picks up. J.K. Rowling's beloved characters are adults and their children are having adventures at Hogwarts. The two-part, five-hour play is nominated for 10 Tony Awards and already won a record nine Olivier Awards in England. Jamie Parker, who plays Harry Potter, and Noma Dumezweni, who plays Hermione Granger, join 'CBS This Morning' to discuss stepping into the shoes of such beloved characters, the decision to cast a black woman to play Hermione, and why fans have helped keep the plot under wraps.

Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare's classic love story, with a cast of 20, period costuming, sword fights, and scenic design by a Tony Award winner, will be directed by Playhouse Artistic Director Mark Lamos at Westport Country Playhouse, from October 31 through November 19. This is the first time the beloved play has been produced in the history of the Playhouse's 87 seasons.

Ivo van Hove's award-winning revival of Arthur Miller's A View From the Bridge is playing at the Ahmanson Theater now through October 16, 2016. BroadwayWorld gives you a first look at the cast in action below!

The cast is set for the Young Vic Production of Arthur Miller's "A View From the Bridge" produced by Center Theatre Group at the Ahmanson Theatre. Directed by Ivo van Hove, "A View From the Bridge" will begin previews on September 7, with the opening set for September 14, 2016. Performances continue through October 16. The cast includes, in alphabetical order, Danny Binstock, Catherine Combs, Alex Esola, Andrus Nichols, Howard W. Overshown, Dave Register, Thomas Jay Ryan and Frederick Weller. The scenic and lighting design is by Jan Versweyveld, costumes are by An D'Huys and sound is by Tom Gibbons. The production stage manager is David S.
