The 50th Anniversary Celebration of the west coast's renowned Center Theatre Group was a thrilling evening of performances top lined by Academy Award winner and Platinum recording artist Jennifer Hudson at the Ahmanson Theatre Sunday, May 20th in Los Angeles. Fresh off her acclaimed performance in NBC's "Hairspray Live!," Hudson sang the evening's closing number. BWW TV's own Michael Sterling covered the red carpet for the much anticipated event.

Based on the motion picture written by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Guillaume Laurant, 'Amélie, A New Musical' will have its Broadway premiere at the Walter Kerr Theatre, beginning performances on March 9, 2017 and opening April 3, 2017.

Ivo van Hove's award-winning revival of Arthur Miller's A View From the Bridge is playing at the Ahmanson Theater now through October 16, 2016. BroadwayWorld gives you a first look at the cast in action below!

The cast is set for the Young Vic Production of Arthur Miller's "A View From the Bridge" produced by Center Theatre Group at the Ahmanson Theatre. Directed by Ivo van Hove, "A View From the Bridge" will begin previews on September 7, with the opening set for September 14, 2016. Performances continue through October 16. The cast includes, in alphabetical order, Danny Binstock, Catherine Combs, Alex Esola, Andrus Nichols, Howard W. Overshown, Dave Register, Thomas Jay Ryan and Frederick Weller. The scenic and lighting design is by Jan Versweyveld, costumes are by An D'Huys and sound is by Tom Gibbons. The production stage manager is David S. On Broadway, Burstein's appearances have included A Little Hotel on the Side (1992), Yakov in The Seagull (1992-93), in Saint Joan and Three Men on a Horse (both in 1993), Paul in Company (1995), 1st Officer William Murdoch in Titanic (1997-99), Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone (2006-07), Luther Billis in South Pacific (2008-10), and Taxi Driver in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (2010-11). He played the role of Buddy Plummer in the Kennedy Center production of Follies, which went on to play Broadway's Marquis Theatre and LA's Ahmanson Theatre. He is currently starring in the Roundabout revival of Cabaret, for which he earned a 2014 Tony nomination.
