The Best of Broadway presented by Planet Fitness series announced the shows for the 2018-2019 season today. The series' 20th anniversary season will welcome six shows including the return of Les Miserables (October 16-21, 2018), back by popular demand after a successful engagement in 2013. The season also includes Something Rotten! (November 12 & 13, 2018); Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I (December 4 & 5, 2018); The Sound of Music (March 12 & 13, 2019); Finding Neverland (April 2 & 3, 2019); and the highly-anticipated return of Jersey Boys (May 7 & 8, 2019). All performances are at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

The 2018-2019 season includes six Broadway shows, headlined by the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Blockbuster Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. Also coming as part of the Haverland Carter Broadway in New Mexico series are Finding Neverland, The Sound of Music, Kinky Boots, and the newly-restaged Cats. RENT 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR will also tour to Popejoy as a Broadway Extra.

Today the Edinburgh International Festival unveils its 2018 programme. The International Festival runs Friday 3 to Monday 27 August. Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) and Broadway in Columbus (BIC) are proud to announce the Broadway musical HAMILTON will play its premiere Columbus engagement to anchor the 2018-19 PNC Broadway in Columbus season. The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts announces over 20 newly booked events to accompany the already-announced 2017-18 season. Highlights include internationally-acclaimed stars of rock, comedy, dance, and even politics as well as Tony Award-nominated Broadway titles. Tickets for these shows are on sale now to Kimmel Center members and will be available to the general public on September 9.
