Madonna Among Stars Featured on HGTV's CELEBRITY HOLIDAY HOMES

This winter, beginning Dec. 7, HGTV is featuring six glamorous specials highlighting celebrities and their A-list dwellings, from mansions and luxurious movie set trailers to a famous 16th century castle in Great Britain and America's best-known home, the White House. HGTV decks the halls with Hollywood celebrities like Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke, and tours the places stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Kellie Pickler call home when they are on the road and on set.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Haydn Gwynne has been cast as Margaret Thatcher opposite Helen Mirren as the Queen in Peter Morgan's play The Audience at the Gielgud Theatre. According to the Daily Mail, Haydn Gwynne has been cast as Margaret Thatcher opposite Helen Mirren as the Queen in Peter Morgan's play The Audience at the Gielgud Theatre. Preview performances begin Feb. 15, with the show's opening slated for March 5, and the run ending June 15, 2013.

TIME WILL TELL, WWII Suspense by Eddie Upnick Now Available

The idea for Eddie Upnick's book, Time Will Tell (Label Man Books), was born out of a chance meeting in Antigua in 1995 with an elderly Englishman named Sidney Dowse. Mr. Dowse was one of the courageous men who escaped Sagan, the prison camp portrayed in the 1963 movie The Great Escape. Mr. Dowse told Eddie details never revealed in any history book under the condition that Upnick would not release these facts until after Dowse's death…which occurred in 2008.

The Trustees of the National Theatre Corporation (NTC), in Washington, D.C., are announcing that they have entered into an arrangement with Chicago-based JAM Theatricals, Ltd. and Philadelphia area-based SMG that will expand the presentations at the historic National Theatre to include an annual Broadway series, concerts, leading classical artists and other attractions. JAM and SMG are combining to provide booking, advertising, marketing and promotional services, venue management and operational support for the Theatre.

British Stage and Screen Actor Simon Ward Dies at 70

According to the BBC News, stage and screen actor Simon Ward died on July 20, 2012, after a long illness. He was 70. As reported by the BBC, 'a statement released by his agent said he passed away peacefully with his wife Alexandra and daughters at his bedside.'

Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Announces 10th Anniversary Events

In honor of its 10th Anniversary Season, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in downtown Appleton will host a variety of Signature Events inviting local artists and audiences to be part of a yearlong celebration at the Center.
