The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) presents the famous and fun whodunit play The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie and directed by Paul Mason Barnes. This classic mystery will be performed on the Browning Mainstage of the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts, 130 Edgar Road (on the campus of Webster University), Webster Groves, December 4-29, 2013.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) production of William Shakespeare's RICHARD II with David Tennant was screened across the U.K. last Wednesday, November 13th. The production was seen by more than 60,000 people in 364 cinemas across the U.K., generating more than £1 million ($1.6 million) in box office receipts, including the more than 20,000 people who booked tickets for upcoming screenings.
Kean Department of Theatre's MACBETH Opens Tonight

Kean University's Department of Theatre will present Macbeth, Shakespeare's timeless tale of lust, betrayal, and power, Friday, November 15th through Saturday, November 23rd in Kean's spacious Wilkins Theatre. Directed by Department of Theatre professor Ernest W. Wiggins, Macbeth features a cast of twenty-six student actors, as well as scenic, lighting, and sound designs by student designers. Daniel Pellicano, who recently received rave reviews as the troubled Jacob in The Beautiful Dark at Premiere Stages, plays the title role.

For as long as people have created myths, they've told stories about the mysterious powers of poison. But in the natural world, poisons are simply part of the daily struggle to survive. The astonishing variety of evolutionary adaptations among toxic plants and animals is at the heart of this intriguing exhibition, which also examines humans' attempts to understand poisons' potency, how the science of detecting poison developed, and how researchers today use venoms and other natural toxins to develop new medical treatments. Visitors will encounter some of history's most puzzling poisoning cases, use clues to solve poisoning mysteries, and take part in a live theater presentation to help unravel a real-world case of poisoning.
