The Smith Center for the Performing Arts presents the world premiere of THE TEMPEST, produced by the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at The Smith Center in Las Vegas April 5-13, 2014. The Smith Center's first ever co-production, THE TEMPEST is adapted and directed by Aaron Posner and Teller from the play by William Shakespeare, with magic by Teller, music by Tom Waits and movement by Matt Kent of Pilobolus.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the Artistic Direction of Diane Paulus, will present the last production of its 2013/14 Season, THE TEMPEST, adapted and directed by Aaron Posner and Teller from the play by William Shakespeare, with magic by Teller, music by Tom Waits, and movement by Matt Kent of Pilobolus Produced in association with The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada, the production will begin performances in Cambridge on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Loeb Drama Center and run through Sunday, June 15, 2014. It will be available for press viewing from Wednesday, May 14 at 7:30pm.

Ophelia's Jump Productions, a non-profit public benefit corporation, is honored to announce its new partnership with the Pomona College Department of Theatre and Dance: Theatre for the Claremont Colleges. Ophelia's Jump will stage four shows in their upcoming season at the Seaver Theatre, Sontag Greek Theatre and Allen Theatre on the Pomona College campus. In addition, Ophelia's Jump and Pomona College Theatre will collaborate to provide new learning opportunities for students of the Claremont Colleges and area residents through master classes, internships, and workshops.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) presents William Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor, directed by CST Artistic Director Barbara Gaines. Embraced by audiences as one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies, The Merry Wives of Windsor is an energetic romp with the lovable rogue Sir John Falstaff, performed by Scott Jaeck, as he charms and conspires against the townspeople of Windsor, only to be outsmarted by Mistress Page and Mistress Ford, performed by Kelli Fox and Heidi Kettenring. Chicago Shakespeare's production will transport audiences to post-war England in the late 1940s with a soundtrack of spirited dance music. Burning Coal Theatre Company will present (Three Man) Tempest by William Shakespeare, adapted and directed by Randolph Curtis Rand, tonight, December 5 - 22, 2013. The production runs Thursdays through Saturdays, December 5 - 7, 12 - 14 and 19 - 21 at 7:30 pm and Sundays, December 8, 15 and 22 at 2 pm. The Property of a Distinguished American Private Collector Parts l and ll were blockbuster sales with a distressed letter from Vincent van Gogh selling for $336,000 and an internationally sought after Marilyn Monroe letter addressed to Lee Strasberg in which she wrote about the phycological toll Hollywood has taken on her. The letter written in pencil was estimated to sell between $30,000-50,000 and sold for $156,000.
