Last night, Jason Momoa stopped by Times Square before surprising fans at a screening of Aquaman in New York.

The Gotham Awards ceremony was held last night, Monday, November 26th, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Not quite the casting news one would expect for a movie like Aquaman, but a thrilling revelation to be sure. According to EW, Julie Andrews will 'appear' in the upcoming film. 

Amazon Prime members can be the first to experience the epic, action-packed adventure in the stunning undersea world of Atlantis. Aquaman is sure to be at the top of everyone's wish list this season and Prime members will get exclusive access to an early showing of Warner Bros. Pictures' and director James Wan's DC Super Hero feature film. The early showing reserved for Prime members will take place on December 15 - a week before the film is released on December 21, 2018. Members can purchase up to 10 tickets and enjoy the movie with their family and friends at one of more than 1,000 theaters across the country including AMC, Regal, National Amusement Theaters and ArcLight Cinemas (ticketing is powered exclusively by Atom Tickets). Rupert Friend will star in Separation, directed by William Brent Bell and written by Nick Amadeus and Joshua Braun.  The film is produced by Bell together with Yale Productions' Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, Russ Posternak and Jesse Korman, and RainMaker's Clay Pecorin and Russell Geyser.   Executive producers are Seth Posternak and Dennis Rice.  Yale Productions' Jon Keeyes serves as a Co-Producer.

The Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), the nation's premier member organization of independent storytellers, announced today the nominees for the 28th Annual IFP Gotham Awards. Ten competitive awards will be presented to independent features and series. In addition to the competitive awards, Gotham Tributes will be given to actors Rachel Weisz and Willem Dafoe, director Paul Greengrass, and the Gotham Industry Tribute to Jon Kamen.

Blue Mountain Gallery, 530 West 25th St in the Chelsea district of Manhattan, is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Pamela Berkeley entitled Then And Now. Included will be 30 oil-on-canvas paintings by the artist representing new works and an oeuvre spanning five decades of her career. The exhibition runs from Tuesday, November 27th to Saturday, December 22nd. There will be an opening reception and opportunity to meet the artist on Thursday, November 29th from 5 to 8 pm. Berkeley will also be at the gallery every subsequent Saturday for the duration of the show. There will be a second reception on Sat., December, 1st from 3 to 5.

According to Variety, Willem Dafoe has found his follow-up to his Oscar-nominated performance in “The Florida Project,” as the veteran actor has signed on to co-star with Anne Hathaway in the Netflix pic “The Last Thing He Wanted.”
