M. Night Shyamalan's AFTER EARTH Gets Earlier Release Date

Columbia Pictures announced today that director M. Night Shyamalan's AFTER EARTH has been moved up a week from June 7 to May 31. The other two wide releases scheduled on that date are Now You See Me and The Purge.

Variety reports that Will Smith is in final discussions to star in Warner Bros upcoming film FOCUS. The actor will join Kristen Stewart in the 'con artist' picture. According to the report, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone were the original leads up for the parts.
