The 2010 Tony Award-winning Best Musical MEMPHIS announced casting today for the U.S. national tour of the critically acclaimed production. The national tour of MEMPHIS will star Bryan Fenkart (Huey) and Felicia Boswell (Felicia) with Quentin Earl Darrington (Delray), Rhett George (Gator), Julie Johnson (Mama), Will Mann (Bobby), and William Parry (Mr. Simmons).

TONY nominee, Brenda Braxton (Smokey Joe's Café), Felicia Finley (Aida, Wedding Singer), Joe Iconis (Things to Ruin, Bloodsong of Love) & Chris Jackson (In the Heights) were featured performers in Theatre of Rock: People You Know Singing Songs You Don't! that took place at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Monday April 18th. E!Online is reporting that Brooke Shields may very well be heading back to the Great White Way next season, telling friends that she is preparing to begin rehearsals for a show at the end of the summer. The show is unknown, however, internet rumors have associated the star with Leap of Faith, which is being helmed by Promises, Promises director/choreographer Rob Ashford.

Anna Chlumsky (My Girl), Julie Halston (Gypsy), LaTanya Richardson Jackson (Freedomland), Doris Roberts ('Everybody Loves Raymond') and Brooke Shields ('Lipstick Jungle') join the May cast of Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's smash hit show Love, Loss, and What I Wore beginning tonight, April 28 (through May 23). Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which opened in October 2009 and played its 200th performance on Sunday (3/28/10), has been playing to sold-out houses at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd Street).

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Anna Chlumsky (My Girl), Julie Halston (Gypsy) and Brooke Shields ('Lipstick Jungle') will join the previously announced Doris Roberts in Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's smash hit show Love, Loss, and What I Wore beginning April 28 (through May 23). It was also announced today that Love, Loss, and What I Wore alumnae Lucy DeVito and Jayne Houdyshell will return to the show as part of the April cast (March 31 - April 25), which also includes Judy Gold, Melissa Joan Hart and Shirley Knight.
