EWonline reports that Wendi McLendon-Covey will guest star on an upcoming episode the ABC hit comedy MODERN FAMILY.

THE COMEDY AWARDS (#comedyawards) are back and better than, well, last year, when the second annual event airs on COMEDY CENTRAL on Sunday, May 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The nominees are in for the 2012 MTV MOVIE AWARDS with The Hunger Games and Bridesmaids neck-in-neck with eight nominations each, including the categories 'MOVIE OF THE YEAR,' 'BEST CAST' and 'BREAKTHROUGH PERFORMANCE.'

McCarthy received her first Oscar(R) nomination this year for her supporting role in the film, and Wiig also became a first-time nominee for the film's original screenplay. All six will be making their first Oscar show appearances.
