Showtime Networks Inc. and The Walt Disney Studios have extended their exclusive output agreement under which DreamWorks Studios' films theatrically released by Disney through 2018 will air across SHOWTIME, THE MOVIE CHANNEL and FLIX, as well as its multiplex channels.

The Omaha return of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Thursday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, April 7. In Omaha, THE LION KING plays Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Matinee performances are Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. There will also be a special matinee at 2:00 pm. on Thursday, April 4. The network is designed to provide a highly reliable and cost effective distribution model for distributors and exhibitors alike. Soho Rep has announced that the celebrated stage and screen actor Larry Pine will star in the world premiere production of Lucas Hnath's adrenaline-charged odyssey A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney. Directed by Soho Rep Artistic Director Sarah Benson, Pine will play the title character - the man who forever changed the American Dream. Hnath's fictional play centers around the reading of a screenplay Walt Disney has written about his last days on earth. Joop van den Ende and Henk Kivits have jointly agreed that Mr Kivits will step down as CEO of Stage Entertainment Group on 31 July 2013. Mr Kivits decided not to accept Joop van den Ende's offer to extend his contract as CEO of the international theatre company by an additional two years. Kivits has been CEO since 1 August 2007.
