Trout Steak Revival has announced the first round of fall 2019 tour dates. Stops feature an appearance at IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Awards) as well as a handful of dates in the Southeast. The band has also announced that they will celebrate New Year's Eve at The Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, CO with Wood Belly.

The Woodruff Arts Center announces the unveiling of its second public piano, provided by Play Me Again Pianos, which will take place in a public celebration on Callaway Plaza on Sunday, October 16, at 2 PM.

Good news, excitement and high energy were in abundance at Atlanta Ballet's 86th annual meeting, recently held at the Northern Trust Wealth Management offices, which officially brought the 2016 fiscal year and 2015-16 performance season to a close. Under the leadership of President and CEO Arturo Jacobus, the organization completed the season debt free and with a balanced operating budget.

The Woodruff Arts Center announces its sixth Free Family Festival, which will take place on September 11 from 1 - 4 PM as part of the CREATE ATL Family Fun at The Woodruff Arts Center initiative.  The Free Family Festival will feature family-oriented programming led by the Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art. The festival will include live performances from master Jamaican musicians & storytellers, scavenger hunts with Eric Carle's famous children's book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, interactive musical experiences like Pop, Zing, Boom! with Dave Holland of Beatin' Path Rhythm Events and Alliance Live! Hollywood Squares. 

To celebrate the life of Victoria Woodhull and promote ONWARD VICTORIA, the team created a hashtag: #34DaysOfVictoriaWoodhull. The Woodruff Arts Center announces another Free Family Festival, which will take place on March 13, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., as part of the Family Fun at The Woodruff Arts Center initiative. 

The New Orleans Opera Association (“NOOA”) is proud to announce that their Youth Vocal Competition, a collaborative effort with Loyola University New Orleans College of Music and Fine Arts (“Loyola”), Tulane University Department of Music, and New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, will now be named “The Donald W. Wood Sr. Competition” (the “Wood Competition”).

The Wildlife Conservation Society honored tonight Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation Chelsea Clinton, and WCS Trustee Diane Christensen for their commitments to saving elephants and protecting wildlife and wild places. Held at the WCS Central Park Zoo, the event-titled 'An Elephant's Tale'-highlighted the conservation plight of elephant populations in the forests and savannas of Africa and efforts to protect them from the illegal ivory trade.
