Producer Daryl Roth announced today that stage and screen favorite Veanne Cox (La Cage Aux Folles; "Pan Am"), Emmy Award-winner Nancy Dussault ("Two Close For Comfort") and Tony and Emmy Award-winner Lillias White (The Life) will all join the January cast of the Off Broadway hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore, beginning January 4 through January 29, 2012.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will present the Arizona premiere of the international hit play Love, Loss, and What I Wore on Jan. 3-8, 2012.

Bakersfield Mist, the new play by Fountain Theatre co-artistic director Stephen Sachs, has been optioned by multiple Tony award-winning producer Sonia Friedman for productions in London and New York.

This morning on 'Live! with Kelly' guest David Hyde Pierce announced that IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU, a show that he directed this Fall at George Street Playhouse, will arrive on Broadway in Fall 2012. The New Jersey production starred Lisa Howard, Tom Deckman, Mylinda Hull, Tyne Daly, Richard Kline, Jessica Hershberg, and more. No official announcement has been made concerning casting or an opening date.

The LA Times is reporting the breaking news that 'Center Theatre Group announced Tuesday that it would import the production now on Broadway that originated in May at Washington's Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Michael Ritchie, CTG's artistic director, said "we are currently in discussions" to lure members of the Broadway cast led by Bernadette Peters, Elaine Page, Jan Maxwell, Jayne Houdyshell and Danny Burstein. "Follies" is scheduled to close on Broadway Jan. 22 after a four-month run.'

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Tony Award-winner Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden) will join returning cast members Myra Lucretia Taylor (Wicked; Nine), Sonia Manzano (Maria on "Sesame Street") and Loretta Swit ('Hot Lips Houlihan' on "M*A*S*H") for the December cast of the Off Broadway hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore beginning Wednesday, December 7, 2011 (through Friday, December 30) at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street). Following their Off Broadway run, the cast will launch the show's first national tour, which begins in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Mesa Arts Center (January 2 - 8, 2012). Theatre legend Arthur Laurents, who passed away earlier this year, has a final book that will soon be released by Applause Theatre & Cinema Books. The book, which prviously set for a April 24 release, will now be available starting September 18, 2012.

Theatre and Opera director Stephen Wadsworth's new production of Terrence McNally's Master Class starring Tyne Daly as the legendary opera soprano Maria Callas is to transfer to the Vaudeville Theatre following its critically acclaimed, sell-out run on Broadway. Master Class, produced in the West End by Max Cooper, Maberry Theatricals, the Marks-Moore-Turnbull Group, Ted Snowdon and Sonia Friedman Productions in association with the Manhattan Theatre Club, will run at the Vaudeville Theatre for 14 weeks only from 21 January to 28 April, with press night on 7 February 2012. Set design is by Thomas Lynch, costume design by Martin Pakledinaz, lighting by David Lander and sound by Jon Gottlieb. Tickets are now on sale for Master Class and further casting will be announced shortly.
