The producers of the national tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, and the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) announced that single tickets will go on sale Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 9 AM at the Box Office window (220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence) ONLY; telephone and internet sales will begin an hour later, at 10 AM.

THE BOOK OF MORMON's tour stars Nic Rouleau and Ben Platt just announced via Twitter that they will soon join the Broadway company, replacing Matt Doyle (Elder Price) and Cody Jamison Strand (Elser Cunningham) respectively. Rouleau wrote: 'Thrilled to announce that Heavenly Father is sending me back to Broadway to serve another mission at @BookofMormon in January!!' Platt wrote: 'Bursting with excitement to finally announce that I will be joining the Broadway company of @BookofMormon this January!! #DreamComeTrue #NYC'

Vital Theatre Company and HIT Entertainment are pleased to announce the return of the yuletide hit, Angelina Ballerina The Very Merry Holiday Musical, to the McGinn/Cazale Theatre at 2162 Broadway from November 16th - January 5th, 2014. The show, with book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music by Ben Morss, and direction and choreography by Sam Viverito, is based on the famous dancing mouseling and her friends created by Katharine Holabird and illustrated by Helen Craig. Angelina and her friends will return to the Vital stage with a special 'red carpet' press opening on November 16th. Performances continue November 17 through January 5th on Selected Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30 pm.

The task of wrapping up a musical involving Ugandan warlords, closeted Mormons, and amphibious fornication might prove to be rough for the average lyricist - but SOUTH PARK masterminds Trey Parker and Matt Stone have done it nicely with the THE BOOK OF MORMON's 11 o'clock performance of 'Tomorrow is a Latter Day,' and the infamous anthem 'I Believe.' As do KINKY BOOTS' flashy footwear-driven 'Raise You Up/Just Be,' proving everyone loves a good drag queen in six-inch heels, or PIPPIN's big reveal in 'Finale/Magic Shows and Miracles.'
