Stars of the long-running musical Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q -- including the beloved puppets Trekkie Monster, Princeton, Mrs. T, Lucy, and their fellow human actors -visited the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo in support of Wildlife Conservation. The actors attended a performance of the zoo musical AVENUE ZOO in which AVENUE Q star Kate Monster is making a special appearance this summer at the Bronx Zoo. The Theatre Group at SBCC returns to performing in the beautiful, newly renovated Garvin Theatre with the irreverent musical AVENUE Q, now through July 28, 2012.

Even puppets are awkward in their intimate moments. Through July 29, audiences sit just a few feet from AVENUE Q residents when they're making whoopee in Theatre Too - the compact basement space of Theatre Three.

The Once Upon A Time Players (under the artistic direction of Brendan Stackhouse) kicks off its sixth season this summer with Avenue Q playing three performances June 8-10 at Washington's Crossing Open Air Theatre (355 Washington's Crossing - Pennington Rd) in Titusville.

The Lyric Stage Company production of AVENUE Q rivals the national tour that passed this way four years ago. The run has been extended (twice) by popular demand to July 1st. Director Spiro Veloudos has assembled one of the best musical ensemble casts of the season.

Outrageously funny, wonderfully engaging and, at times, even heartfelt and sentimental, Avenue Q serves up a full buffet for the discerning theater-goer lucky enough to find himself in the audience of Street Theatre Company's production of the multiple Tony Award-winning musical, directed with flash and sass by Martha Wilkinson and featuring a cast of amazingly adept actors-turned-puppeteers who bring the show to life.

MusicalFare Theatre have anounced an additional week of performances for Avenue Q. The show will now run until March 11.
