Part flesh, part felt and packed with heart, AVENUE Q is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. There, he meets Kate (the girl next door), Rod (the Republican), Trekkie (the internet sexpert), Lucy The Slut (need we say more?), and other colorful types who help Princeton finally discover his purpose in life!

The show is directed by Bernie Cardell, with Music Direction by Marsha Whitaker and Choreography by Kelly Van Oosbree. The outstanding cast includes Michael Bouchard as Rod, Patrick Brownson as Trekkie Monster, Leslie Randle Chapman as Female Puppeteer/Bad Idea Bear, Eric Fry as Brian, Anna High as Gary Coleman, Paul Jaquith as Male Puppeteer/Bad Idea Bear, Carolyn Lohr as Kate Monster/Lucy T. Slut, Keith Rabin as Princeton, Arlene Rapal as Christmas Eve, and Mark Shonsey as Nicky.

Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx began writing AVENUE Q in the BMI Workshop in 1999, thinking it was a great idea for a TV series. Three years later it was produced Off-Broadway, Broadway, Las Vegas and London.  AVENUE Q won the 2004 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, and a Grammy nomination for its Original Cast Album.  Robert Lopez's wickedly comic songs are currently spicing up the acclaimed, Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Book of MormonJeff Whitty won the 2004 Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical for "AVENUE Q.
