Third Street Theatre, the West Hollywood 99-seat Equity Waiver theatre that brought LA the critically-acclaimed smash hit Falsettos, presents three limited engagement fundraising gala performances of The Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown tonight, May 4th, tomorrow May 5th and Sunday, May 6th. Each night will bring audiences a fresh mix of Broadway, film and television talent with hosts Jane Lynch, William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman, and a cast that includes Tracie Thoms (Rent), Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Lindsay Pearce (The Glee Project) and Chase Williamson (Spring Awakening). Every performance will be immediately followed by a catered reception and a hosted wine bar.

Earlier this morning, stage and screen stars Kristin Chenoweth & Jim Parsons announced this year's Tony nominees from the New York Public Library. In a season as rich as this past theatrical season though, there are only so many spots for nominees and some very talented shows and performers were not nominated. The Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards, which are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from the Beacon Theatre, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Just before the airing of the final episodes of the hit show, The Closer, Tony nominee Corey Reynolds (Hairspray) will host on Saturday May 5th. Added to the cast are Janelle Lynn Randall (Boardwalk Empire, All Shook Up), Daniel Tatar (The Company Men, Hairspray) and Allen Hidalgo (Jersey Boys). These actors join hosts Jane Lynch, William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman, as well as cast members Tracie Thoms (Rent), Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Lindsay Pearce (The Glee Project), Chase Williamson (Spring Awakening). Every performance will be followed by a catered reception and hosted wine bar.

Tracie Thoms will guest star in the upcoming CBS pilot APPLEBAUM. The actress will play the role of 'Kat' described as a former doctor, a loving mother and the loyal, supportive best friend of the lead character, 'Juliet', played by Rachel Lefevre.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) has announced that it will present the musical Pippin as part of its 2012 - 13 Season. The production will be directed by Diane Paulus with choreography by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main, also known as 7 Fingers. Performances will begin in December 2012 at the Loeb Drama Center, Cambridge.

STICK FLY, the hit Broadway play by Lydia R. Diamond and directed by Kenny Leon, will play its final performance at Broadway's Cort Theatre (138 W. 48th Street) on Sunday, February 26, 2012 after 24 previews and 92 regular performances.
