According to the Hollywood Reporter, stage and screen star Ellen Burstyn has signed on to star in Laurie Weltz's Scout, opposite Jane Seymour, India Ennenga, James Frecheville, Onata Aprile, Tim Guinee, Danny Glover and Nikki Reed.

The forthcoming Broadway production REAR WINDOW has found its creative team in playwright Keith Reddin(Too Much Memory, Life and Limb) and director Terry Kinney (reasons to be pretty, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest). The play will be adapted from Cornell Woolrich's original short story, the iconic and haunting tale of the wheelchair-bound witness to a possible murder in his neighboring New York City apartment.

Television (WBTV) arrives in Anaheim for another exciting weekend at WonderCon 2013, starting with exclusive screenings of some of this season's hottest series - including The Following (Mondays 9/8c FOX) - on the big screen on Friday, March 29. Following that, fans can power up their Saturday with a special video presentation and panel session for this season's #1 new show, Revolution (Mondays 10/9c NBC, new episodes returning March 25), followed by Warner Bros. Animation's new super funny super hero series Teen Titans Go! (premiering Tuesday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network) on Saturday March 30. On Sunday, March 31, look for another bulls-eye with an edge-of-your seat video presentation and panel session for the hit new action-drama Arrow (Wednesdays 8/7c The CW).

Charlie Lyons, Jay Russell, Tim Guinee Bringing REAR WINDOW to Broadway

Producer Charlie Lyons (The Water Horse, The Guardian, Ladder 49), director Jay Russell (The Water Horse, Ladder 49, My Dog Skip) and actor Tim Guinee (NBC's "Revolution", Showtime's "Homeland", "Iron Man I & II") worked for two years to acquire the theatrical stage rights to the most famous and beloved of all noir short stories, "Rear Window" (aka "It Had to be Murder"). This unique producing consortium announced today their plans to mount a Broadway production of the iconic and haunting tale of the wheelchair bound witness to a possible murder in his neighboring New York City apartment. Although the Broadway rights in this story have been repeatedly sought over the years from the Sheldon Abend Revocable Trust and its predecessors, this is the first option ever granted.

On Tuesday, October 9, Primary Stages (Executive Producer Casey Childs, Artistic Director Andrew Leynse, Managing Director Elliot Fox) continued their celebration of the Foote Family legacy at the opening night of HIM by Daisy Foote. This world-premiere production, the second of Primary Stages' 28th season, features Tony Award nominee Hallie Foote (Harrison, TX , Dividing the Estate) Tim Hopper (Present Laughter, The Dying Gaul, Steppenwolf), Adam LeFevre (The Doctor's Dilemma), and Adina Verson (The Winter's Tale at Yale Rep). Helmed by Obie Award-winning director Evan Yionoulis (Three Days of Rain, Violet Hour), HIM runs September 25 - October 28 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters.
