Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced that Michael Liebert Artistic Director Tony Taccone will direct the upcoming production of Aubergine, by Julia Cho, which is scheduled to have its world premiere performances at the Theatre in February 2016. Liesl Tommy, Berkeley Rep's former associate director, has had to withdraw from the production following the just-announced Broadway transfer of Eclipsed, which Tommy is directing at the Public Theater in New York.

TCG Books Publishes Danai Gurira's Broadway-Bound ECLIPSED

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) is pleased to announce the publication of Danai Gurira's Eclipsed. The world premiere of Eclipsed was in the fall of 2009 at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, with several subsequent productions in regional theatres across the country. The play received its Off-Broadway premiere at The Public Theater in the fall of 2015, and that production will move to Broadway in February 2016.

New York Live Arts today announced the artists selected for the 2015-2016 Fresh Tracks Performance and Residency Program. The 2015-2016 Fresh Tracks artists are Melanie Greene, Sarah Lifson, Eli Tamondong, EmmaGrace Skove-Epes and Jonathan Gonzalez, and Georgia Wall and Itamar Segev. These artists will present their works in the Fresh Tracks performance showcase, February 5 - 6, 2016, at 7:30pm.
