THE MEETING* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater on Sunday, October 25 at 9:30 PM to continue the Fall 2015 Season. The October 2015 show will feature a celebration of the cult film PRACTICAL MAGIC for Halloween, with special guests to be announced. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

Geffen Playhouse presents the West Coast premiere of GUARDS AT THE TAJ by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Steinberg Award recipient Rajiv Joseph. Raffi Barsoumian will star as Humayun, opposite Ramiz Monsef as Babur.

Tony Award-winning Broadway musical IN THE HEIGHTS officially opens tonight 13 October for an extended run at King's Cross Theatre. The production runs until Sunday 3 January 2016. IN THE HEIGHTS returns to London following a critically acclaimed sell-out UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse in 2014.

Oppressed in Heels and A Letter for You presents THE TROJAN WOMEN, a new devised work pulled from interviews of women dealing with war in its many ravaging forms weaved into the narrative of Euripides' classic text. Nathaniel P. Claridad (the original company of Here Lies Love) directs and serves as head writer for the new investigative theatre piece that will play October 23rd through November 1 at the Access Theatre.

On Tuesday, September 29, immediately upon completion of filming his starring role on the fourth season of the Cinemax series 'Banshee,' Hoon Lee joined Tony winner Kelli O'Hara and the company, assuming the role of The King, which was originated for this production by Tony Award nominee Ken Watanabe. Initially booking for a limited 4 week season, the production will now run until Sunday 3 January 2016. Continuing its commitment to bringing free Shakespeare to the community and strengthening audience engagement with the arts, The Public Theater mounts its MOBILE SHAKESPEARE UNIT again this month with a free three-week tour to the five boroughs of Shakespeare's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah. The free Mobile Unit tour (today, October 9, through October 29) will bring free Shakespeare to audiences who have limited or no access to the arts by visiting correctional facilities, homeless shelters, social service organizations, and other community venues, including stops at our Public Works community partner venues: Brownsville Recreation Center in Brooklyn and DreamYard Project in the Bronx.
