Mayor Michael A. Nutter announced today that Berry Gordy the legendary force behind the creation of Motown and many of America's top pop music stars will receive the 2013 Marian Anderson Award.

The Bard SummerScape festival in New York's Annandale-on-Hudson presents the world premiere of an original stage adaptation of The Master and Margarita (1937) by Mikhail Bulgakov. The Master and Margarita is widely recognized as one of the greatest and most beloved Russian novels of the 20th century.

The original Broadway cast recording of 'MOTOWN THE MUSICAL,' a show nominated for four TONY Awards, is released today, June 4, 2013, by Motown/Universal Music Enterprises (UMe).

The Bard SummerScape festival in New York's Annandale-on-Hudson presents the world premiere of an original stage adaptation of The Master and Margarita (1937) by Mikhail Bulgakov. The Master and Margarita is widely recognized as one of the greatest and most beloved Russian novels of the 20th century. SummerScape's theatrical adaptation comes courtesy of visionary Hungarian director Janos Szasz in collaboration with Gideon Lester, Director of Bard's Theater Programs. It is also Szasz, whose previous stage adaptations of Bulgakov's underground classic have already "made it big" (Moscow Times) at both the Hungarian National and Moscow Art Theatres, who directs Bard's new production: an exploration of miracles, madness, and the magic of theater itself. The Master and Margarita will be presented in ten performances between July 11 and 21 in Theater Two of the Frank Gehry-designed Fisher Center, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, on Bard's glorious Hudson Valley campus.

PBS previously announced the addition of a series of health-focused specials to its smart and popular EXPLORATION WEDNESDAYS science programming block on Wednesday evenings. The specials follow best-selling British author, journalist and popular TV personality Dr. Michael Mosley as he conducts experiments on himself to improve his health and discovers how the human body works. The three-part series follows Nature and NOVA on Wednesdays, tonight, April 3-17, 2013, 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET on PBS.

On the next live results show airing Thursday, April 4 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), tune in to find out which of your favorite finalists will be sent home. When Bob Simon first met the Lost Boys, they were a miracle. Forced to flee on foot - some as young as 5 - they wandered across deserts and countries as they fled the civil war in Sudan that killed most of their families. Many died along the way from malnutrition, thirst, even from crocodiles at one point. That they survived to make it to a refugee camp in Kenya, where they met Simon, was a miracle. Getting resettled in the U.S. was another miracle none of them could ever have imagined on their years-long odyssey. And, for a few of them at least, the miracles continue, as Simon reports 12 years later for a 60 MINUTES story to be broadcast Sunday, March 31 (7:00-8:00PM, ET/PT).
