Life is filled with opportunities to learn, discover and celebrate but it takes extraordinary vision to see these occasions. Judith R. Gordon is gifted with such rare insight and proof of this is her new collection of original writings, Life Is a Limerick. Here, Gordon demonstrates both her mastery in articulating the diversity of human experience and the depth of emotion and her gift to make extraordinary the things which would otherwise seem ordinary.

Life Is a Limerick brings together Gordon's poems, prose and other original writings which number almost fifty. It is divided into six parts namely Donald-Gordon's husband, who passed away in 2012-, Family, Friends, Pets, Just Thoughts in Poetic Form and Miscellaneous. Many of Gordon's works hold personal value but her unique voice makes each piece relevant, immediate and emotionally accessible. Her writings resonate with the ebb and flow of life, capturing the depths of human yearning, the pain of loss, The Miracles of love and the beauty of life and the reading experience is one that will speak to the heart.

By turns heartwarming, poignant and ultimately unforgettable, Life Is a Limerick is both a story of one woman's journey and a touching portrait of life and the different people and moments that make it more meaningful. About the Author
Judith R. Gordon is a retired real estate owned analyst for a major bank in the United States. She was recently widowed which motivated her to write the book, Life Is a Limerick, in memory of her husband.

Gordon has been writing all her life and was first published in the local newspaper in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, at the age of fourteen. Writing was more of a hobby which she pursued over the years. Her first love was fashion design and when she missed a scholarship to Parsons School of Design in New York City, she did the next best thing and became a fashion buyer.

She spent a good deal of her working life in retail until the economy turned sour and she had to turn to a new field. Gordon obtained her real estate license in Florida and was involved in that field, from sales to closings to REO analyst, for thirty years.
