The Andak Stage Company announces the sixth world premiere of their first three seasons.

The Directors Company production of Irena's Vow, the new Broadway-bound play by Dan Gordon, starring four-time Tony nominee and three-time Drama Desk Award-winner Tovah Feldshuh, and directed by Michael Parva, has been invited to perform a special concert version of the acclaimed new play at the United Nations this afternoon, to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a rare and prestigious invitation for a group of performers.

The Directors Company production of Irena's Vow, the new play by Dan Gordon, starring four-time Tony nominee, and three-time Drama Desk Award-winner Tovah Feldshuh, and directed by Michael Parva, will move to Broadway this season, it was announced today by the show's producers. Preview performances will begin on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street), with an opening night set for Sunday, March 29th at 6:30 pm.

Crain's New York Business is reporting that the Off-Broadway hit IRENA'S VOW could be headed to Broadway in March 2009.

Playwright Mark Schultz is the recipient of The National Arts Club's 2006 Kesselring Prize for Playwriting. The $15,000 prize is awarded annually to a playwright of exceptional promise.
