The Conejo Players previously announced auditions for PETER PAN, directed by Erin Fagundes with music direction by John Gaston, choreography by Miriam Durrie-Kirsch and produced by Jennifer Kilpatrick. Auditions will be held today, May 13th through May 15th, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday at 7:00 PM at The Conejo Players Theatre, located at 351 South Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks, Calif.
THE ENCYCLOPEDIA SHOW Ends 4th Successful Season & Co-Founder Releases Debut Book, 6/6

The monthly THE ENCYCLOPEDIA SHOW ends its 4th season on June 6, 2012 with this month's theme The Universe and Shanny Jean Maney's book debut at the Vittum Theater, 1012 N. Noble St. Created by co-hosts Robbie Q. Telfer and Maney, THE ENCYCLOPEDIA SHOW explores a set theme and artists across disciplines, from spoken word to music, are invited to create a piece about that theme. The June 6 show will also feature an interview with one of the founders of string theory, Leonard Susskind. THE ENCYCLOPEDIA SHOW has now spread to 10 cities world-wide including New York, L.A., Austin, Seoul, Korea, and Berlin, Germany. The season finale on June 6 also celebrates the book debut of Maney's book of poetry 'I Love Science!'.

When Patty Duke played the role of Helen Keller in the Broadway premiere of William Gibson's The Miracle Worker, she was ten years old, and when Madeleine Hall took the stage of the Franklin Theatre on Thursday night in the opening of Studio Tenn's exquisitely crafted revival of the modern American theater classic, she too was ten years old. And it should be noted that as portentous as Duke's debut came to be known, theater lovers still to come may very well consider Madeleine Hall's beautifully crafted performance just as revelatory and just as noteworthy.
