The Public Theater announced today that Emmy Award winner Mare Winningham and Dimitri Joseph Moise join the previously announced cast of the world premiere musical Joan of Arc: Into the Fire.

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre announces the young performers who will perform in the three children's choirs of the upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on stage from Feb.2 through March 26. Each choir will perform for about two weeks of the production.

The Jazz Ensembles of Mount Holyoke College present the 12th edition of The Big Broadcast! on Saturday, March 4 at 2PM & 7PM at Chapin Auditorium, Mount Holyoke College, in South Hadley, MA. 

This month, Noce continues its inaugural season of theatre with an immersive production of Tick, Tick... BOOM! Local actors Charlie Reese (Hand to God, Murder Ballad, Avenue Q) and Jill Ziegler (Shrek, Rent) are joined by songwriter and recording artist Madison Ray in Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick... Known by legions of fans as 'the Man in Black,' artist and performer Johnny Cash was a musical jack-of-all-trades. A singer, songwriter, and guitarist all in one, his music incorporates country-western sounds with gospel and blues influences. Syracuse Stage celebrates this American icon with 'Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash,' an addition to the theater's 2016/2017 season.

American Bard Theater Company presents Visionary Voices, three poignant, tantalizing plays by two pioneering women playwrights, exploring gender roles, race, and death in America's early twentieth century. Aimee Todoroff and Tonya Pinkins direct. The evening of one-act works include Trifles by Susan Glaspell (1916), Exit: An Illusion by Marita Bonner (1929), and The People by Susan Glaspell (1918). Performances will be staged at the Gloria Maddox Theatre, 151 West 26th Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001 from February 15-March 5, 2017.

Joined by accompanist Steven Ryan (celebrating his 20th anniversary season with Dessoff) and Dr. Raymond Nagem, Associate Organist at the Cathedral of St John the Divine, Dessoff presents a magnifique tribute to French composers and to the majeste of the organ.
