Luna Stage presents the East Coast premiere of The Tall Girls by Meg Miroshnik.  The Tall Girls opens to previews on Thursday October 8th, 2015 and runs Thursdays through Sundays through November 1st. Opening night is Saturday October 10th, 2015.  Select performances are followed by Talkbacks with the Creative Team. This Autumn, as part of their American season, Jermyn Street Theatre is to build on its reputation of rediscovering important lost work by great dramatists by staging two UK premieres by Eugene O'Neill.

The Antaeus Theatre Company presents the West Coast premiere of Baker's fresh new version, hailed as one of the top 10 shows of 2012 by both The New York Times and New York magazine, in a fully partner-cast production. Robin Larsen directs for an October 15 opening at the Antaeus Theater in NoHo, with low-priced previews beginning October 8.

The premiere will open on Saturday, September 26th, 2015 - curtain time 8:15 with the playwright in attendance. Preview performances will be on Sep. 23rd, 24th and 25th. The production will run through October 17th.

WAM Theatre has announced the cast for the final offering in the 2015 Fresh Takes Play Reading Series, The Effect by Lucy Prebble, directed by Kristen van Ginhoven, co-founder and Artistic Director of WAM Theatre. Gloucester Stage presents Annie Baker's The Flick from tonight, August 20 through September 12 at 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. Winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, The Flick, follows three underpaid employees of a run-down movie theater in central Massachusetts as they mop the floors and attend to one of the last 35-millimeter film projectors in the state while also revealing touching and funny truths about their search for identity. Their tiny battles and not-so-tiny heartbreaks play out in the empty aisles of the movie theater, becoming more compelling than the lackluster, second-run movies on screen. In The Flick playwright Annie Baker uses keen insight and a finely-tuned comic eye to create a funny and heartfelt cry for authenticity in a fast-changing world. In addition to winning a Pulitzer Prize for The Flick, Ms. Baker also received the Susan Smith Blackburn Award and an Obie Award for Playwriting.
