SBCT Kids4Kids to Present I HATE SHAKESPEARE, Begin. 8/16

Berkshire Playwrights Lab to Present Staged Reading of TITLES, 7/24

Berkshire Playwrights Lab will present a staged reading of Michael Brady's Titles, directed by Giovanna Sardelli, on Wednesday, July 24 at 7:30pm at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center (14 Castle Street, Great Barrington, Mass.). There is no charge for admission, however, Berkshire Playwrights Lab suggests a $10.00 donation to help offset its programming costs. Juilliard Drama to Feature GREAT GOD PAN, BURIED CHILD & More in 2013-2014 Season

Juilliard's Drama Division announces the 2013-2014 season of fully-staged productions featuring Juilliard's 43rd group of acting students in their fourth and final year in the drama program at Juilliard. This season's plays include Jeffrey Hatcher's Smash, directed by Victor Pappas; Amy Herzog's The Great God Pan, directed by Maria Mileaf; and Sam Shepard's Buried Child, directed by Daniel Fish. All performances take place in the Stephanie P. McClelland Drama Theater at Juilliard.

Laura Zam's MARRIED SEX to Play Special Engagement at NYC Fringe, 8/10

Contemporary American Theater Festival Joins National New Play Network

The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, has added its 27th member, Contemporary American Theater Festival. The decision was made by the organization's Board of Directors at its Annual Conference on June 6 in Dallas, TX, hosted by Core Member Kitchen Dog Theater.

New City Stage Company opened the Philadelphia of 'RFK' by Jack Holmes in Philadelphia in October 2012 and then extended the show into November after 18 straight sold-out houses. This hit version of the play will receive 2 more productions by New City Stage in 2013, including one in Washington, D.C., which opens tonight at the award-winning Studio Theatre.

Time Warner Foundation Grant Supports South Coast Rep's New Play Commissioning Project
