TODAY's Willie Geist got an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the new "Rocky" musical, Sylvester Stallone's adaptation of his Oscar-winning film

The national tour of the Tony-winning play PETER AND THE STARCATCHER has cancelled its previously planned final engagement at Boston's Shubert Theatre, show representatives confirmed today. The tour's last stop will now be in Pittsburgh, PA, with the final performance set for May 25.

Based on the personal experiences of journalists, critically acclaimed composer Helen Chadwick and Olivier Award winning choreographer and co-founder of Frantic Assembly Steven Hoggett present the world premiere of War Correspondents, a new song-cycle performance, coinciding with the centenary of WWI. The world premiere is at Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 24th to 26th April 2014.

Peter and the Starcatcher, the multi Tony Award- winning musical play written by Tony Award-nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, will bring its magic to Harris Center for the Arts in Folsom as a stop on its first National Tour.

Unable to see AMERICAN IDIOT in New York City, I am so happy that the Third National Tour finally brought the show to Houston, TX. This lively, youthful cast owns every moment of this explosive and exhilarating AMERICAN IDIOT, and I can't imagine any other cast performing this rollicking, raucous piece as well as they do. Universal Music Enterprises, Stage Entertainment USA, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Sylvester Stallone announced today the forthcoming release of the new original Broadway cast recording of ROCKY, on May 27th, 2014 (UMe). ROCKY has an original score by the Tony Award-winning team Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once On This Island), who are the album's producers; additionally the score incorporates the iconic songs 'Eye Of The Tiger' and 'Gonna Fly Now.' The musical, which opened Thursday, March 13th at the historic Winter Garden Theatre, stars Andy Karl as Rocky, Margo Seibert as Adrian (making her Broadway debut), Terence Archie as Apollo Creed and features a superb ensemble.

Last night (17 March 20134) the six-time Olivier award nominated musical Once celebrated its first birthday in the West End, joining forces with the charity Oxfam specifically fundraising for their Mother Appeal. Also celebrating St Patrick's Day, the production welcomed their new cast led by Arthur Darvill, who joins the London production having played the role on Broadway.
