Aronoff Center for the Arts Announces $25 Lottery Seats for AMERICAN IDIOT, 4/11-12

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for AMERICAN IDIOT, which is playing its Cincinnati debut at the Aronoff Center with performances April 11-12, 2014. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Aronoff Center box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets. AMERICAN IDIOT will play the Aronoff Center April 11-12, 2014: Friday at 8:00PM and Saturday at 5:00pm and 9:00pm. (more...)

Unable to see AMERICAN IDIOT in New York City, I am so happy that the Third National Tour finally brought the show to Houston, TX. This lively, youthful cast owns every moment of this explosive and exhilarating AMERICAN IDIOT, and I can't imagine any other cast performing this rollicking, raucous piece as well as they do. Breaking: ROCKY Original Broadway Cast Recording Gets May Release; Track List Revealed

Universal Music Enterprises, Stage Entertainment USA, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Sylvester Stallone announced today the forthcoming release of the new original Broadway cast recording of ROCKY, on May 27th, 2014 (UMe). ROCKY has an original score by the Tony Award-winning team Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once On This Island), who are the album's producers; additionally the score incorporates the iconic songs 'Eye Of The Tiger' and 'Gonna Fly Now.' The musical, which opened Thursday, March 13th at the historic Winter Garden Theatre, stars Andy Karl as Rocky, Margo Seibert as Adrian (making her Broadway debut), Terence Archie as Apollo Creed and features a superb ensemble.
