The first preview of the new Broadway musical ROCKY (presented by Stage Entertainment USA and Sylvester Stallone), set for tonight, February 11, has been canceled; it was announced this morning. ROCKY will now begin previews on Thursday, February13, with no performance originally scheduled for tomorrow.

ROCKY, beginning previews February 11 and officially opening on March 13, announces a day-of-performance lottery for Golden Circle seats in the first two rows of Broadway's historic Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway, New York, NY). Golden Circle ticketholders will be escorted onto the stage to watch the climatic fight during the final 20 minutes of the performance. Entry to the lottery will begin two hours prior to each performance and the winners will be announced 90 minutes prior to curtain. The national tour of the explosive Broadway hit AMERICAN IDIOT, called 'wonderfully raucous' and 'emotionally charged' by The New York Times and 'flat-out electrifying' by the Boston Globe, will make its Portland, Maine premiere today, February 6 at Merrill Auditorium as part of Portland Ovations 2013-14 season.

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, the Tony Award-winning musical play written by Tony nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony winner Roger Rees and Tony nominee Alex Timbers, will make its Connecticut premiere at The Bushnell's Mortensen Hall February 18 as part of the 2013-2014 Bushnell Broadway Series co-sponsored by Travelers and Webster Bank.

Producers Jeffrey Richards, John N. Hart Jr. and Jerry Frankel, in association with the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), have announced that the limited engagement of the critically-acclaimedrevival of the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) production of The Glass Menagerie at the Booth Theatre (222 W 45th Street) will host post-show talkbacks with the cast on Thursday, January 30, and Thursday, February 6, 2014.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the national tour of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony Award winning musical play written by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award?winner Roger Rees and Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers, from today, January 28 to February 16, 2014 in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater. Press opening night is Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker have announced that What's It All About? Bacharach Reimagined will extend two additional weeks through Sunday, February 16, 2014 at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. The musical had originally been scheduled to run through January 5 and then, following rave reviews and strong box office, received a four-week extension through February 2.

Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta announced today that single tickets for the national tour of the explosive Broadway hit AMERICAN IDIOT, called "wonderfully raucous" and "emotionally charged" by The New York Times and "flat-out electrifying" by the Boston Globe, will go on sale January 26 at 10:00 a.m. The show will play May 1-4 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2013/2014 season. Later this week, on Friday 24 January 2014, over 400,000 new tickets will be released for sale for the hit West End musical Once, taking bookings at the Phoenix Theatre to 4 July 2015. The eight time Tony award-winning musical, directed by John Tiffany, opened at the Phoenix Theatre in April last year where it has been acclaimed by audiences and critics alike.

The current cast of Once, led by Declan Bennett and Zrinka Cviteši? as Guy and Girl respectively, will continue until 8 March 2014. Bennett will then go on to join the cast of EastEnders, where he will play Charlie Cotton, Dot's grandson.

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, the five-time Tony Award-winning musical play written by Tony Award® nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award winner Roger Rees and Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers, comes to Wharton Center as part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center series. Peter and the Starcatcher will play for one week only from tonight, January 22-26, 2014.
