Sarasota's original antidepressant is back and ready to bring on the laughter in 2013. Saturday nights at 8:30pm, FST Improv will create characters and sketches on the spot. Not even the performers know what to expect - until it happens. The comedy begins on January 19th for the winter season in the Goldstein Cabaret.

'Every day when I read the paper (I am one of the remaining 10 in Sarasota) it seems that it is a little smaller and the news is bad,' says Director Rebecca Langford. 'At the same time I see hope everywhere I go. Things are changing and everyone can feel it. What is that change going to be? Well we don't know, but in Improv we have a great time guessing. This winter's show is really about finding the bright side amid all the sky is falling news. We might not be able to solve all these problems, but we can make fun of them.
