New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that the new musical Once, based on the Academy Award-winning film, rounds out the theatre's 2011-2012 season.

Tony Kushner's THE ILLUSION, directed by Michael Mayer opened on Sunday, June 5, 2011. The production will play through Sunday, July 17, 2011, having extended one week. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that the theatre's 2011-2012 subscriber season will include THE SELECT-THE SUN ALSO RISES, FOOD AND FADWA, and AN ILIAD.

According to the NY Times, New York Theatre Workshop will feature Denis O'Hare and Steven Spinella in two recently announced productions: AN ILLIAD and FOOD AND FADWA. Following the premiere of previously announced THE SELECT, Lameece Issaq's FOOD AND FADWA will be directed by Shana Gold.

The first preview of Tony Kushner's THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES has been postponed a day to provide the cast and crew with an additional dress rehearsal.
