'No Ordinary Visitors' - When Stephanie's hard-to-please parents, Barbara (Cybill Shepherd) and Allan Crane, pay an unexpected visit, the Powells must curb the use of their powers for fear of giving away their secret. ABC has picked up additional episodes of new and returning series for the 2010-11 Season, it was announced today by Paul Lee, president, ABC Entertainment Group. New series 'Better With You' and 'No Ordinary Family' receive full season orders, and additional episodes were ordered for 'Detroit 1-8-7' and returning series 'Brothers & Sisters.'

'No Ordinary Vigilante' - While patrolling the park at night in an effort to catch a mugger, Jim is mistaken for a murderous vigilante who has begun targeting the robbers; Stephanie makes a discovery that could explain how she and her family got their powers; Daphne uses her telepathic abilities to get into an exclusive party reserved for only the cool high school kids; and JJ tries out for the football team - with a lot of help from his powers -- on 'No Ordinary Family,' FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. EOnline.com reports that Stephen Collins is going to appear in the upcoming season of Brothers & Sisters, the ABC original drama.

This past weekend, Elaine Stritch performed her 'Singin' Sondheim' cabaret in West Hartford, CT. As reported by the Hartford Courant, the A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC-bound star was simultaneously in private rehearsals with director Trevor Nunn. According to the report, Stritch and Peters were in New York working on scenes with Nunn, who then rode to Hartford with Stritch to continue discussions over the two-hour car ride. They continued work at the Roberts Theatre, the same space Stritch performed 'Singin' Sondheim' that evening. Jeremy Cohen, associate artistic director of Hartford Stage, is quoted as saying that watching Stritch and Nunn 'was like [being] a kid in a candy shop ... He's definitely an actor's director and listening them talk about Sondheim was incredible. It's as if they had been working together for decades because they spoke in the common vocabulary of Sondheim.'

Stephen Sondheim, Harold Prince, James Gandolfini, Patti LuPone, Liz Smith, Christine Ebersole, Lesley Stahl, Joni Evans, Cynthia McFadden, and Michael Feinstein were just a few of the stars who gathered at the Carlyle Hotel last night to celebrate the 85th birthday of its most famous resident, Elaine Stritch. In honor of the event, Stritch herself celebrated with an hour long performance of 'At Home At The Carlyle: Elaine Stritch Singin' Sondheim...One Song At A Time.'
