Syracuse Stage announced today that the Tony Award winning musical a?oeOncea?? and the Cold Read Festival of New Plays, originally scheduled for this spring, will move to dates in September. a?oeOncea?? will perform Sept. 16 a?" Oct. 4 and Cold Read Sept. 22 a?" 27. Both remain part of the currently suspended 2019/2020 season. Single tickets for a?oeOncea?? will be on sale again July 25.

New THE WORLD'S A STAGE Series Launches at Seattle Shakespeare Company

For acclaimed British actor Michael Pennington, Shakespeare has been a companion and inspiration for more than 50 years. Lisa Wolpe, who may have played more of Shakespeare's male roles than any other actress, has outright stated, "I feel like Shakespeare saved my life." After his tour of duty in the army, it was Shakespeare that helped veteran Stephan Wofert cope with PTSD and find his own way in the civilian world. All three artists are a part of Seattle Shakespeare's new performance series that shares personal and unique relationships with Shakespeare.

Feast of Crispian, a non-profit theater organization that uses the works of Shakespeare to work with military veterans, is proud to announce the first-ever National Veterans Theater Festival, which will take place at Milwaukee Repertory Theater's Stiemke Studio May 23-26, 2019. The festival will offer Milwaukee veteran and civilian audiences a chance to see performances by a wide array of veteran actors and artists who will explore issues of race, returning home, and processing their (military) experiences.
