Though HAIR deals with issues of war and the draft its buoyant music and script ultimately capture the free-spirited dawning of the hippie movement when everything still seemed possible. Hodges and Hodges (Nick and Linda) were there to take in the Age of Aquarius and get our hippie groove on and review the show for you!

The moon is in the Seventh House and Jupiter is aligning with Mars on Oct. 25 - Nov 20 at the Golden Gate Theater where the Tony-award winning HAIR is getting ready to open. It's definitely the place to Be-in! Leading the HAIR tribe is actor Steel (yes, that's his real name) Burkhardt, whose long tresses and loincloth are set to bring back the 60's revolution in the city where it all began....BroadwayWorld.com's Linda Hodges had the chance to interview the Broadway star about the show, his thoughts on the darker side of the 60's movement, the craziest audience member they've had and more. Monday night marked the 300th performnce for the national tour of HAIR, now performing at Broadways St James Theatre. The Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR kicked of its first national tour at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC on October 28, 2010 (following a preview engagement in New Haven, CT) and played 20 cities around the country before heading back to Broadway for a limited 'Summer of Love' run at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). New York's Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director) and Joey Parnes have announced that HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical will once again rock Broadway this evening, following a one-day shuttering this past Saturday due to Hurricane Irene. Tonight's 7:00 PM performance will also mark the national tour's 300th performance.
