Camille A. Brown & Dancers to Return to New York with Mr. TOL E. RAncE, 12/6-7

Camille A. Brown & Dancers, recognized for its visceral movement and unflinching approach to comedic and controversial themes, announces its upcoming New York return of Camille A. Brown's 2013 Mr. TOL E. RAncE. Presented as part of the 651 Arts 25th Anniversary Season, Black Dance: Traditions and Transformation series, the program will run two-nights at the Kumble Theater in Brooklyn, December 6-7, 2013. Scott Patterson will play live the original eclectic piano score-composed by Patterson, Brandon McCune, Jonathan Melville Pratt and Kurt "KC" Clayton.

The '60s - Back Down East 14th offers a view of the 1960s through the eyes of an awkward kid who's just trying to fit in. Children and drug abuse in America are the top-of-mind topics that families are often at a loss for words to discuss. On Saturday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m., The Ridgefield Playhouse and The Ridgefield Prevention Council and Family University are hosting a free event calledRAW with popular actor/director/producer Giancarlo Esposito of the Breaking Bad television series, who will help families talk about drugs and how to keep it real and safe. Actor Giancarlo Esposito, best known for his portrayal of Gustavo 'Gus' Fring on the series Breaking Bad, will share his experiences growing up with drugs and alcohol in his family and how it affected his life. Esposito's current TV role is playing Captain Tom Neville on NBC's Revolution. The audience will have a chance to meet Giancarlo Esposito at the Q&A after this event. This event is sponsored by Drug Abuse, America, Our Children and You and is a co-production of The Ridgefield Playhouse, The Ridgefield Prevention Council and Family University.
