The Marsh presents the return of THE JEWELRY BOX, a family friendly holiday show by award-winning performer Brian Copeland (Not a Genuine Black Man, The Waiting Period, The Scion) and directed by David Ford.  THE JEWELRY BOX will play Fridays at 8pm and Saturdays at 5pm and 8pm, November 27 - December 19, 2015 at The Marsh San Francisco, 1062 Valencia Street.  For tickets ($30-$100) the public may visit www.themarsh.org or call 415-282-3055 between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Following a record-breaking 2014/15 season, Broadway San Jose, a Nederlander Presentation, recently announced the six productions that will comprise the lineup for the 2015/16 season.

Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy, and David Mirvish has announced that MOTOWN THE MUSICAL has been extended for one additional week.  Tickets for Motown The Musical, Annie, Jersey Boys, and The Wizard of Oz at the National Theatre go on sale Sunday, September 13. Tickets for Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella are currently on sale.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and Broadway Across America announced that tickets to four musicals out of its five-show 2015-2016 Broadway in Miami season will go on sale for the first time on Saturday, September 12, 2015, during the Center's ARTSLAUNCH2015. In partnership with the local arts community and presented by American Airlines, ARTSLAUNCH2015 will celebrate the Arsht Center's box office opening and the start of the South Florida arts season with a day full of fun, free activities for the community. BRENDA LEE EAGER, the legendary American soul singer, songwriter and recording artist who is best known for her chart topping performances of pop songs like 'Ain't Understanding Mellow,' 'Close To You' and 'Somebody's Somebody,' has just been added to the lineup of Blues performers who will shake it up on Labor Day Weekend at the 1st Annual Southern California MADCatfish Blues Festival La Qu?tta M. Shamblee, Producer of the event announced today. 'Brenda Lee Eager will appear as a singer with the Yu Ooko Band on Saturday, September 5th as part of the two-day Blues Festival,' Shamblee said.
