Simon Beaufoy's THE FULL MONTY gets down to business at the King's Theatre in Glasgow this month with an all-star cast and stellar moves as part of a UK tour which kicked off last year.

The stage version of the hit film The Full Monty comes to The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury,  next month (February).

As previously announced, the 2016/17 UK Tour of Simon Beaufoy's THE FULL MONTY is led by Gary Lucy as Gaz, with Andrew Dunn as Gerald, Louis Emerick as Horse, Chris Fountain as Guy and Kai Owen as Dave.  Anthony Lewis is now playing the role of Lomper, as Joe Absolom had to withdraw due to contractual filming commitments.

Based on his smash-hit film and adapted for the stage by Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy, Birmingham Hippodrome has announced full casting for the 2016/17 UK Theatre award-winning production of The Full Monty, running from Mon 14 - Sat 19 Nov.

The Brazilian stage production of the musical created out from one of the great movie box office hits in the 1990s - The Full Monty - conquered the cariocas in their season of 5 months, directed by Tadeu Aguiar and Portuguese version by Artur Xexeo. In this musical production version, with a book by Terrence McNally and score by David Yazbek, six unemployed steelworkers, low on both cash and prospects, decide to present a strip act at a local club after seeing their wives' enthusiasm for a touring company of Chippendales-type club. One of them, Jerry, declares that their show will be better than the Chippendales dancers because they'll go 'the full monty'-strip all the way.
