Based on the smash hit 2003 film, SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL follows Dewey Finn, a failed wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. Completely disinterested in academic work, Dewey decides to create his own curriculum, turning his class into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. 'Making it on Broadway' (www.makingitonbroadway.net), a week long musical theatre training program in New York City, has only a few spots left for its upcoming Winter Intensive. The prestigious guest teachers include, but are not limited to, SIERRA BOGGESS (Starring in Broadway's 'School of Rock'), ANNALEIGH ASHFORD (Tony-winner; Currently starring in "Sylvia" on Broadway), and Larry O'Keefe (Award-winning composer of "Legally Blonde," "Heather," and "Bat Boy").

Daniel and Laura Curtis will be releasing a new album in the later part of 2016.  The album comes on the heels of their chart topping, 'Love On 42nd Street, that featured Broadway and West End artists like: Lea Salonga, Ramin Karimloo, John Owen-Jones, Sierra Boggess, Samantha Barks, and Simon Bowman. Due to the success of their first album, Daniel and Laura have been greatly anticipating working with many more wonderfully talented artists within the industry.

The show will include songs by women songwriters such as Georgia Stitt, Marcy Heisler, Jonathan Brooke, Susan Werner, Patricia Barber, Laura Nyro, Joni Mitchell and Dorothy Parker, as well as the title song written for Errico by Gopnik and Scott Frankel; and the New York debut of music by Jeanine Tesori. There is also a sprinkling of the classic American songbook by Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Sondheim & Mary Rodgers. 

Broadway stars Chris McCarrell (LES MISERABLES) and Katie Rose Clarke (WICKED, THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, ALLEGIANCE) have just released a duet by composers Daniel and Laura Curtis.
