ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE/LA announces a new opening date for the world premiere of DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW WHAT A PANCREAS IS?, written by Carole Real and directed by Jenny O'Hara. DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW WHAT A PANCREAS IS? will now preview on Tuesday, November 13 and will open on Wednesday November 14 at Atwater Village Theatre, 3269 Casitas Ave. in Los Angeles, 90039. THE FISHERMAN'S WIFE will be extending and will now run through Thursday, December 13.

Rising Sun Performance Company (Akia, Founding Artistic Director) announced today that Hotel Suite, its three-week site specific group of plays set in a real Upper West Side hotel room, will resume performances Thursday, November 1st with Room 128, a collection of six short plays, at 8:00 pm at Hostelling International (891 Amsterdam Avenue at 103rd Street). Due to Hurricane Sandy, Hotel Suite, which began performances October 11th, has been dark since Sunday, October 28th.

Chicago-style long-form improvisation comes to Burning Coal Theatre Company! Northwestern University MFA Jason Tyne-Zimmerman leads a six week class on performing (and enjoying!) Improvisation in the style of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

Burning Coal Theatre Company's Playwriting Class, taught by Jason Tyne-Zimmerman, takes place from 6:30 to 9:30 pm on Mondays from September 3rd to October 22nd. Underground Railway Theater and Suffolk University present the World Premiere of Car Talk: The Musical!!! with books, lyrics, and direction by Wesley Savick, and original music by Michael Wartofsky. Central Square Theater and its resident companies, The Nora Theatre Company and Underground Railway Theater, have announced their 2012-2013, and 5th anniversary, season.

The Blank Theatre's world premiere production of Sukie & Sue: Their Story by Michael John LaChiusa, directed by Kirsten Sanderson, was developed last year in The Blank's Living Room Series. Sukie & Sue: Their Story is the only play ever written by LaChiusa, who has received five Tony Award nominations for his musicals. Sukie & Sue: Their Story began previews on April 21, and opening is set for tonight, April 28 at 8pm. The engagement will run through Sunday, June 3.
