The Winter/Spring 2014-2015 agenda features Into the Woods as the IStage Performance Ensemble production, the 1st Annual Play Off, and thrilling new classes beginning January 17.

Scholastic, the global children's publishing, education and media company, announced today that it will publish an illustrated poetry book for children by celebrity entertainer Nick Cannon in March 2015. “Neon Aliens Ate My Homework and Other Poems” will cover a diverse range of kid-friendly topics including funny, silly, gross, heartwarming, as well as serious poems, and will also include a number of illustrations created by Cannon himself. Additionally, the book for kids ages 7 and up will feature black-and-white illustrations by acclaimed street artists whose works have been shown around the world including Art Mobb (aka Michael Farhat), Califawnia(aka Fawn Arthur), Captain Kris (aka Kristian Douglas), Morf (aka Jack Fish), Queen Andrea (aka Andrea von Bujdoss), MAST, and Mike P. The publishing deal was developed by D. Christopher Jennings and Robert Caruso, founders of Impact Republic, Nick Cannon's Ncredible Entertainment, and Debra Dorfman, Vice President and Publisher, Scholastic.
Peculiar Works Project to Present 3CHRISTS, Opening 9/7

Peculiar Works Project has announced the world premiere of their next site-specific theatrical event, 3CHRISTS, written by SM Dale & Barry Rowell, and directed by Kelly O'Donnell. Based on The Three Christs of Ypsilanti, a psychological study by Milton Rokeach, 3CHRISTS will be performed in the sanctuary of Judson Memorial Church (55 Washington Square South, at Thompson St.). Performances begin on Friday, September 5 for a limited engagement through Sunday, September 28. Opening Night is Sunday, September 7 at 7 PM. The performance schedule is Thursday - Sunday at 7 PM. Tickets, which are $18, are available by calling 866-811-4111 or online www.peculiarworks.org.

Rising Sun Performance Company's Founding Artistic Director announced today that their upcoming production of 'Donkey' by John Patrick Bray is slated to be published and licensed with Next Stage Press. This is will be Bray's third publishing with Next Stage Press, Bray's other plays available for licensing with Next Stage Press include Hound and Liner Notes, which were also produced at the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (2009, 2010); Trickster at the Gate, and short plays in 64 Squares and Game Night. Donkey will be available for licensing in late June 2014.

The cast and creative team of the hit Off-Broadway musical Murder for Two are teaming up with some of New York's brightest up and coming composers and BroadwayWorld.com every Monday night for their spring concert series, Murderous Musical Mondays. Composer Joe Iconis contines the series on Monday, May 5, 2014, immediately following the 7pm performance of Murder for Two at New World Stages (Stage 5 - 340 West 50th Street).
Performers will include Liz Lark Brown, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Seth Eliser, Lauren Marcus, Jeremy Morse, Lance Rubin, Jared Weiss, and Jason "SweetTooth" Williams.
