Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein have announced that Waters will stage his inaugural production as Artistic Director with Long Day's Journey into Night by Eugene O'Neill. O'Neill's epic drama will play a limited engagement of 24 performances in the Pamela Brown Auditorium at Actors Theatre of Louisville as part of the Brown-Forman Series. It opens tonight, October 11 and runs through October 28.

Yale Repertory Theatre, in a co-production with American Repertory Theater, presents the world premiere of Marie Antoinette by David Adjmi, directed by Rebecca Taichman. Marie Antoinette will be performed at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) October 26 through November 17. Opening Night is Thursday, November 1. LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences, has announced two new productions which will open in 2013: Luck of the Irish, a new play by Kirsten Greenidge, to be directed by Rebecca Taichman and A Kid Like Jake by Daniel Pearle, to be directed by Evan Cabnet. Luck of the Irish will run from Monday, January 28 through Sunday, March 10 (opening on Monday, February 11) and A Kid Like Jake will run from Sunday, June 2 through Sunday, July 14 (opening on Monday, June 17), both at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).
Actor Illness Delays MODERN TERRORISM Opening; Postponed Until 10/18

Second Stage Theatre has canceled five preview performances of Jon Kern's world premiere comedy, Modern Terrorism, Or They Who Want To Kills Us and How We Learn To Love Them, due to actor illness. The canceled previews on Sunday, September 30, Tuesday, October 2, and both previews on Wednesday, October 3 have delayed the opening to Thursday, October 18. The production was originally scheduled to open on Monday, October 15. Ticket holders for all canceled shows are being accommodated on later dates. Previews are scheduled to resume on Thursday, October 4.
