Run Tiny Human is the latest album from Shelbyville, Oregon-based songwriter /singer / musician / producer Rachel Taylor Brown. The album was recorded and mixed by Jeff Stuart Saltzman (Bloc Party, Menomena, Stephen Malkmus, Typhoon). This is Rachel's 8th album with Jeff. The album was mastered by Adam Gonsalves of Telegraph Mastering. Run Tiny Human is being released October 19 by Penury Pop Records available exclusively from Bandcamp.

As the story goes in Gilbert & Sullivan's 1879 operetta, The Pirates of Penzance, Frederic the pirate has just been released from his indenture to a comical band of soft-hearted pirates when he meets Mabel, the daughter of Major-General Stanley, and falls in love. As the story also goes, in 2013, New Line Theatre's Artistic Director Scott Miller made an extraordinary discovery:  the never-seen-before draft manuscripts for The Pirates of Penzance, which actually-believe it or not-originated as The Zombies of Penzance.

New Focus Recordings proudly presents the New York release shows for Raba, the new album from Minnesota-based composer Scott L. Miller featuring Estonia's Ensemble U:, flutist Laura c*cks, guitarist Daniel Lippel, and Scott L. Miller. The works on this release reveal a two-decade compositional trend toward quieter, more patient, ambient music rooted in the environment of its origins or its performance. The original concept for this recording was that it should be a retrospective assemblage of previously unreleased audio-visual works from various collaborations Miller has been a part of since 2001. It quickly evolved into a collection of pieces from the past remade, and the impetus for new collaborations. In addition to this album, there is a limited edition DVD of five of the video collaborations with film and video artists Paul Clipson, Ron Gregg, Ted Moore, Rosemary Williams, and Mark Zaki. Organizers of the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival (Today, September 12 – Saturday, September 22, 2018) announced the seventh annual festival's entire lineup and invited Rochester to “Join the pARTy” at their BIG REVEAL press conference yesterday. For the first time, Rochester's Fringe will span 11 days, up from 10 for the past five years.
