The beloved Broadway tradition continued yesterday as Sardi's (234 West 44th Street) added a caricature for three-time Tony Award winning choreographer and director Kathleen Marshall to its walls with an unveiling celebration.

At last night's performance, the actor tested out an updated version of a previous joke involving former Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner, now known as Caitlyn Jenner.

ABC has announced that Jim Parsons, star of Broadway's AN ACT OF GOD, will appear on THE VIEW today, June 2nd. Author Judy Blume will also appear on the broadcast.

Just last night, Paper Mill Playhouse opened the world-premiere musical Ever After, directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes, Nice Work If You Can Get It), featuring a book and lyrics by Marcy Heislerand music by Zina Goldrich.  Ever After stars two-time Tony Award-winner Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens, 42nd Street) as Baroness Rodmilla de Ghent, Tony Award nominee Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Leonardo da Vinci, Emmy Award winner Charles Shaughnessy (Urinetown, 'The Nanny') as King Francis, James Synder (If/Then) as Prince Henry and Drama Desk Award nominee Margo Seibert (Rocky) as Danielle de Barbarac. Following several on-stage engagements at Broadway's new musical comedy, It Shoulda Been You, a young Norwalk, Connecticut couple will wed on stage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47Th Street). Immediately following the Saturday, May 30, 2015 matinee performance, Matt Harter and his fiancee Jordan Reuck, a life-long Broadway fan, will exchange vows before the entire Shoulda company and audience.

Over 400 guests including current and past New York City high school students, and the performing arts professional mentors who have participated in TDF's Open Doors, the theatre arts mentoring program that TDF founded in 1998 with playwright Wendy Wasserstein, will attend this year's graduation at 5:30pm on Monday, June 1 at The Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 West 59th Street, NYC).   TDF's Open Doors was the first arts education program to receive a special Tony Honor for Excellence in the Theatre when it received the special honor in 2012. This year, Open Doors had 30 mentors working with 24 groups of students from New York City high schools.

Six-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara is back on Broadway - and tomorrow, Monday, May 4 she'll honor a woman who's helped shape and support her stage career for over a decade.

The new screwball comedy Living on Love, is the season's first post-Tony nomination closing announcement after receiving no nominations this morning. The show  will play its final performance on Broadway this Sunday, May 3, 2015 after 21 previews and 16 regular performances at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street, NYC). Living on Love is written by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin and directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall.

Few directors and choreographers can get the sort of performance Kathleen Marshall drew out of Sutton Foster in the 2011 revival of ANYTHING GOES; few can get them to keep going, to push through an eight-minute act closer, with hefty tapping and belting. Fewer still can stitch it all up into one of the most rousing, palpitation-inducing musical moments in decades.
